Please let Stacey Foxwell know if you’d like us to add anything or if you see anything that needs to be updated. If you're interested in more information about AIR, contact or visit. Register for the site by selecting AIR from the “station where your work” drop down box. We’ve been working with Sue Schardt and AIR to put this together for more than a year. It’s called the Freelance and Station Contributor Resource Site.
FREELANCESTATION MAC
NPR is delighted to announce a new resource for freelancers. ❾stá FreelanceStation disponible para Apple Silicon, Rosetta 2 support for FreelanceStation, FreelanceStation on M1 Macbook Air, FreelanceStation on M1 Macbook Pro, FreelanceStation on M1 Mac Mini, FreelanceStation on M1 iMac. My thanks to Margaret, to Stacey Foxwell, NPR western editor Jason DeRose, Paul Ingles, Jeff Cabiness, Deborah Begel, and our own Erin Mishkin for working steadily over many months to make this happen. Once you’ve registered, you’ll want to bookmark the site to easily find your way back. Select “AIR” (right up top), and proceed with your registration. You’ll see a drop down menu on the right (“Station where you work”). To access the site, you’ll need to register via the NPR station site. The site is dedicated to Bill Siemering, a long-time AIR member and, as the first program director at NPR, the source and continuing inspiration of so much of what we create and experience in public radio each day. I'm confident this collection of materials will be useful for both new contributors as well as those most experienced. We share with NPR the desire for transparency, and for cultivating and supporting the rich resource of talent available to us. Many of our newest producers are under 34 years old and have never worked with NPR.

I’m pasting today’s announcement from Senior Vice President of NPR News Margaret Low Smith below.ĪIR's network continues to grow and diversify.

This first of its kind site includes Ethics Guidelines, examples of good freelance/station producer stories, “how stories go from idea to air,” key editorial contacts, FTP filing guidelines, the most current AQH audience data for producers airing features on NPR programs, and more. Filter by these if you want a narrower list of alternatives or looking for a specific functionality of FreelanceStation. FreelanceStation alternatives are mainly Time Tracking Tools but may also be Todo List Managers or Project Management Tools. I’m very pleased to invite you to an important new resource for freelance and station-based producers explicitly designed to deliver what’s most important to those interested in contributing stories to NPR. Other great apps like FreelanceStation are RescueTime, ManicTime, Clockify and Cattr.
